What We Do

We Invest in Accelerating Progress

Since 2002, we have mobilized the community to support quality education for all Wylie Independent School District students. The Foundation’s established relationships in the community and its strategic investment in programs and initiatives to support our teachers help fuel academic growth for our students. To date, we’ve granted more than $2.6 million to benefit Wylie ISD schools.

Enhancing Education for All Students

We support all Wylie ISD students through a variety of programs, including grants meant to inspire students’ learning and ignite growth.

Scholarships for Seniors

Seniors are eligible to apply for a scholarship to help offset the cost of continuing education. This could include education at a university, community college, or trade school. Scholarship applications open February 1 and close March 1.

School Supply Closet

More than 94 percent of educators spend money on needs for their classrooms, over and above what the school district can provide. This could mean extra pencils, paper towels, tissues, and more. The School Supply Closet program seeks to remove the need for teachers to pay for these small items throughout the year.
